My articulating chloroplast necklace celebrates the organelle which is the site of photosynthesis in plants and algae, and hence the ultimate source of most of the biological fuels that we all depend on.

This pendant shows the internal structure of chloroplast, including the thylakoids stacked into grana, inner and outer membranes, starch granules, and more! A hinge allows you to open the two halves of this pendant to see the organelle in cross section.

Modeled in a two-tone finish of antiqued pewter and antiqued brass. Great for botanists, gardeners, and other appreciative heterotrophs!
